Product Description
The Aspen cake stand is made and crafted with the minimalistic Japanese style. An excellent insulant of heat. Each cake stand has been coated with varnish to prolong the product in pristine condition.
Available in two different sizes
- 6-inch (16.5cm Diameter x 7cm Height x 8.5cm Base)
- 8-inch (20.3cm Diameter x 9.5cm Height x 9cm Base)
Important
- Our cakes will come on square or round boards based on design. Please write an email to us at hello@fieldnotes.com.sg if you wish to request for round boards.
Colour and Texture
- Do note that the colour and texture of each wood product might differ due to different wood grains and finish
- Do not expose to fire
- Not dishwasher safe
- Do not soak in water
- Wash with soap and warm water, rinse and dry immediately

Cake Care
- All cakes are made without preservatives, and are to be consumed on the same day or by the next day from the date of collection/delivery.
- Message piping would be on chocolate piece on top of cake. For sizes larger than 25CM or 10", message piping would be on cake board.
- If you opt for printed message, it would look like the below (94mm height x 95mm length):
- Classic Cakes, Vegan, Sugar Free Cakes: Refrigerate till just before serving. Refrigerate within 1 hour after collection. If consuming immediately on collection, please leave it in the room temperature for 1 hour to allow it to defrost before consuming as we freeze* our cakes before delivery (*to lock in the taste and nutrition of the food for optimum quality for consumers)
- Celebration Cakes: Do note that our celebration cakes use buttercream on the exterior cream instead of fresh cream. This is to allow the cake to be displayed for a longer time (2 to 4 hours in air con room). Buttercream frosting is thickened with butter and it is hard when cold and straight out from the fridge, and soft only at room temperature. Kindly thaw your celebration cakes at room temperature for approx. 1-2 hours or until cream is soft to touch. Do not consume straight from the fridge as the exterior cream will be crumbly and hard to cut.
- It is the customers' responsibility to ensure that the venue has proper storage for the cake.
- If your cake contains fondant or sugar decorations, we will pack the fondant pieces which can be self placed easily separately for you. However, do note that there are some pieces that cannot be packed separately. Hence, as much as possible, please collect your fondant/sugar decorations cake as close to cake cutting time as possible and keep the cake in an air-conditioned room for up to 3-4 hours at most. Do not refrigerate the sugar decorations as they might melt or form a sticky glossy exterior due to Singapore's humidity. If unsure if there are fondant pieces on your cake, please check with our customer care team.
- Our customised cakes are in boxes but do not come with plastic bags. Please hold them from the base of the cake box only and not from the sides of the box.
- We do not provide dry ice. Small ice packs can be requested for in-store collections *subjected to stock availability, limited to 1 per cake.
- Our desserts are best eaten cold, but can be left in a cold air con room for 2-3 hours.
